Designation/Position- Postdoc Position in Forschungszentrum Jülich
Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany invites application for Postdoc Position in Forschungszentrum Jülich from eligible and interested candidates
About- The computational abilities of modern computers and the brain differ greatly. Neuromorphic Compute Nodes (PGI-14) aims to bridge this gap by incorporating some of the remarkable features found in biological brains. We want to reduce energy consumption while learning more about computation. Machine learning, NP-hard problems, scientific computing, and signal processing are some examples. We build practical circuits and integrated chips for end-to-end laboratory demonstrations using novel technologies like analog memories and modern CMOS elements. The institute works closely with the new Peter Grünberg Institute – Neuromorphic Software Ecosystem (PGI-15), as well as other institutes at the Forschungszentrum Jülich.
