Postdoc Position in Inorganic Chemistry: The Department of Applied Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry, Universidad del Pais Vasco UPV/EHU, is seeking a motivated postdoc in Inorganic Chemistry. The selected candidate will be involved in the development of novel molecular and polymeric coordination compounds based on lanthanide ions, focusing on materials with magnetic and photoluminescent properties.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

Job Description: The postdoc will contribute to the development of novel coordination compounds, emphasizing materials based on lanthanide ions with unique magnetic and photoluminescent properties. The role involves synthesis and characterization of organic ligands, utilizing techniques like NMR, XRD, and IR. Proficiency in English is essential. The position starts on February 1, 2024, and concludes on September 30, 2024, with a possibility of extension until November 30, 2024.
