Eligibility / Qualification
- Mandatory Requirements:
- A doctoral degree (PhD) or an equivalent foreign degree, which must be completed no later than the time the employment decision is made.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD obtained within the last 3 years prior to the application deadline.
- Research expertise in mechatronics, robotics, and/or control systems.
- Strong interdisciplinary communication skills, collaborative mindset, and structured work style.
- Teaching experience/competence.
- Awareness of diversity, equal opportunity, and gender equality issues.
Job Description
- Lead research efforts developing control systems for soft cardiovascular pumps and wearable biofeedback devices.
- Evaluate control system safety in real-time using hybrid mock circulation setups simulating human cardiovascular dynamics across various patient groups.
- Work closely with clinical stakeholders and international partners to exchange research insights and medical feedback.
- Publish research findings independently in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Support research group coordination and mentor/supervise students.
