Eligibility/Qualification:
- University degree (Master) with subsequent PhD in Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Biology, Computational Physics/Engineering, or related fields
- Recent experience and strong interest in programming and analysis
- Experience and interest in functional-structural plant modelling
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
- Fluent handling of UNIX/LINUX and scripting languages
- Experience in sensitivity analysis is a bonus
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Job Description:
The postdoc will develop a multiscale modelling pipeline for the analysis of water and nutrient uptake in plants, calibrate the model based on experimental data, and perform sensitivity and scenario analyses.
