Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD or foreign degree equivalent to a PhD in Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, or a related field.
- Strong background in fluid mechanics with an emphasis on computational methods.
- Experience with numerical methods, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), turbulence modeling, and heat transfer modeling.
- Familiarity with high-performance computing and OpenFOAM or other open-source CFD platforms is advantageous.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be involved in developing advanced computational tools for predicting and improving complex thermal processes. The project will integrate high-fidelity flow simulations with experimental validation, focusing on optimizing channels and matrices. Collaboration with the Competence Centre AdTherM and interdisciplinary teams at Luleå University of Technology and Lund University will be integral.
