Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A doctoral degree in mathematics, ecological modeling, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in mathematical modeling techniques.
  • Strong collaboration and interdisciplinary research skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.

Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, your responsibilities include:

  • Developing size-resolved mathematical models of marine ecosystems.
  • Collaborating with academic and external partners to apply these models for predicting the impact of novel exploitation patterns.
  • Ensuring the practicality and commercial viability of proposed changes in marine resource management.
  • Interdisciplinary working with academic departments and stakeholders to achieve research goals.

This is a fixed-term position until 30/09/2024, with the possibility of a 10-month extension.
