Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Process, analyze, and interpret X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS) data of metal-modified zeolite catalysts under relevant reaction and regeneration environments.
- Collaborate closely on the understanding of structure-performance relationships in catalysts.
- Conduct independent research and contribute to peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in reactor engineering, spectroscopic techniques, and data analysis.
- Experience in X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XANES/EXAFS), including data processing and spectral fitting.
- Proficiency with XAS analysis software such as Athena, Artemis, Larch, or equivalent.
- Strong record of independent research demonstrated through publications and presentations.
- Evidence of scientific communication activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with complex experimental datasets analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with spectroscopy, scattering, or other materials characterization techniques.
- Scripting experience with tools like Python, MATLAB, or equivalent.
- Involvement in data-driven research projects in heterogeneous catalysis or related fields.
- Adaptability to interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
