Eligibility/Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • PhD, DVM, or both.
  • Experience in modern molecular biology and virology techniques, ideally in immunology and/or vaccinology.

Job Description:

  • Plan, direct, and conduct specialized research experiments.
  • Evaluate and analyze data.
  • Establish new research protocols and procedures.
  • Summarize research findings and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Maintain laboratory operations.
  • Supervise research staff.
  • Conduct mentor-facilitated independent research.
  • Present research progress at scientific meetings and public forums.
  • Apply for funding opportunities where applicable.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
