Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD (or MD/PhD) in relevant fields (human genetics, statistical genetics, computational biology, bioinformatics, etc.), or completion within ~6 months.
  • Programming proficiency in R or Python (ideally both), and familiarity with Unix/Linux shell.
  • Hands-on experience with high-performance computing and/or cloud computing platforms.
  • Working knowledge of statistical-genetics methods (e.g., GWAS, Mendelian randomization).
  • Strong publication record and scientific writing skills in English.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Fellow will:

  • Design and execute independent research projects applying various statistical methods.
  • Analyze large-scale proteomics data integrated with genotype and phenotype data.
  • Develop reproducible analysis pipelines on HPC and cloud environments.
  • Write first-author manuscripts and present at international conferences.
  • Collaborate with team members and external consortia.
  • Mentor graduate and undergraduate trainees.
  • Uphold research integrity and responsible data use.
