Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in photonics, materials science, physics, electrical engineering, nanotechnology, or other relevant disciplines with a strong focus on photonics.
- Strong scientific publication record.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing novel photonic device concepts and architectures, and optical test and measurement methodologies.
- Engaging in the development of nanofabrication processes in the NTNU Nanolab cleanroom.
- Conducting photonic chip design, manufacturing, and optical testing.
- Collaborating with an international network of scientific partners.
- Reporting research findings in international conferences and scientific articles.
- Preparing funding applications for fellowship grants such as NRC Mobility and MSC-IF.
