Eligibility/Qualification:
- A Norwegian doctoral degree (PhD) or equivalent foreign doctoral degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics with a dissertation focused on machine learning, deep learning, or related areas.
- Proficiency in Python, Linux operating system, and common programming tools.
- Solid understanding of deep learning, experience with Pytorch, and common data analysis libraries.
- Proactive learning approach, staying updated with evolving frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong publication record in reputable journals and conferences.
- Capacity for independent research and collaborative teamwork.
Job Description:
- Engage in basic research in machine learning models for time series and graphs.
- Develop innovative tools and architectures for processing spatio-temporal data.
- Enhance existing deep-learning models with theoretical and practical insights.
- Collaborate with industrial partners and leading universities in Europe.
- Contribute to project activities focusing on randomized architectures, multi-scale representations, uncertainty quantification, and interpretability.
- Apply methodologies developed to analyze energy systems, focusing on load forecasting, power flow optimization, and fault localization.
