Postdoctoral Fellow in Melanoma Research: Join the research group led by Hildur Helgadottir at Karolinska Institutet, Sweden, as a Postdoctoral Fellow in translational melanoma research. You will play a pivotal role in investigating biomarkers associated with extracellular vesicles (EVs) to predict therapy efficacy in melanoma patients receiving immune checkpoint inhibitors, contributing to the ongoing PROMMEL study. Postdoctoral Fellow in Translational Melanoma Research

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed doctoral degree in a relevant field
- Extensive knowledge of tumor biology, preferably with expertise in tumor biomarkers in liquid biopsies, including EV-associated biomarkers
- Ability to independently acquire knowledge and develop ongoing projects
- Strong communication skills in English or Swedish
Job Description:
- Design and execute a project focused on identifying biomarkers associated with EVs to predict therapy efficacy in melanoma patients
- Conduct proteomic profiling of EVs and plasma samples from melanoma patients receiving immune checkpoint inhibitors
- Analyze data and relate findings to clinical outcomes after treatment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary research group members on ongoing projects
- Present scientific work at seminars and contribute to the preparation of research publications
- Assist in the training of other group members, including PhD students
