Location: Department of Transplantation Medicine, Oslo University Hospital, Oslo, Norway
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD or equivalent degree in molecular biology, bioengineering, or immunology
- Ability to design and interpret original experiments independently
- Experience with advanced cell culture, including organoid culture techniques and organ-on-a-chip systems
- Proficiency in molecular biology, preferably within immunology
- Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language
Job Description:
- Conduct innovative research on bile duct inflammation using organ-on-a-chip technology
- Collaborate with the Norwegian Centre of Excellence Hybrid-technology-hub (HTH) and other research groups
- Employ quantitative methods to uncover and modulate inflammatory processes in bile ducts
- Work with human material relevant to clinical medicine
- Develop and carry out independent research projects under the supervision of Professor Espen Melum
