Postdoctoral Fellow – Plant Genome Biology / Molecular Evolution (Morris)

The Postdoctoral Fellow will focus on identifying climate-adaptive alleles in sorghum through whole genome resequencing and evolutionary functional genomic analyses. Collaborating with a team spanning CSU, Penn State, and CERAAS-Senegal, the postdoc will conduct field experiments, contribute to molecular breeding technology, and prepare publications for peer-reviewed journals. The position, supported for 3 years, plays a crucial role in a $25 million project on allele mining for climate adaptation.
