Eligibility/Qualification:
- University degree and a PhD in Cognitive Science, Psychology, Neuroscience, or related fields.
- Demonstrated interest in eye movement control and vision science, with strong experimental research experience in human visual perception.
- Expertise in psycho-physics, eye tracking, or motion tracking.
- Very good programming skills in Matlab/Python/C/R for experimental control, data analysis, and modeling.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues in machine learning and computer vision.
- Experience with recording and analyzing eye-tracking data, and familiarity with computational modeling is an advantage.
- Excellent command of the English language.
Job Description:
Postdoctoral Research Fellow (m/f/d) – E 13 TV-L- Visual Information Sampling
The successful candidate will be responsible for scientific services in research within the Cluster Science of Intelligence, focusing on “Visual Information Sampling.” This includes designing experimental paradigms and conducting behavioral studies and eye-tracking experiments. The position is a full-time research role with a starting date of 01.05.2024 and a limited contract until 31.12.2025.
