Postdoctoral Position- Clinical Chemistry: The Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine at the Dresden University of Technology is offering a full-time postdoctoral position at the Institute of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine. The position is available for a duration of 28 months and focuses on investigating the structure and function of the endosomal system in cardiomyocytes, as well as evaluating the uptake and trafficking fate of short oligonucleotide-conjugates as therapeutic tools in heart disease.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed scientific university degree
- PhD degree in biology, biotechnology, or a related discipline
- Practical experience and profound knowledge in molecular biology, microscopy, cell biology, and biochemistry
- Experience in the analysis of organoid and iPSC derived in vitro models using molecular, biochemical, and microscopy based assays
- Social and communication skills for cooperative work in interdisciplinary teams
- Very good knowledge of English (both written and spoken), very good knowledge of German is desirable
- High motivation, flexibility, and innovative and creative thinking
