Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD or equivalent degree in physics, astrophysics, astronomy, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience or willingness to teach courses in physics and astronomy.
- Proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Track record of research publications and grant proposals.
- Motivated to work in a multicultural research setting.
Job Description:
- Conduct research in astrophysics within the framework of CRC 1601.
- Collaborate with international partners and institutions.
- Engage in teaching activities, including course coordination and examination organization.
- Contribute to the writing of research papers and grant proposals.
- Work full-time (39.83 hours per week) starting from July 1, 2024, until June 30, 2027.
