Eligibility / Qualification
- PhD in computer engineering, electrical engineering, communication engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Documented experience with deep learning techniques (e.g., CNNs, Transformers).
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
- Experience in working with time-series data.
- Good understanding of Internet of Things and wireless communication networks.
- Strong publication record relative to career stage.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with explainable AI methods.
- Experience in collaborative, cross-cultural research environments.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting research related to semantic representation and reasoning on time-series data.
- Designing and implementing Edge AI for real-time analytics and decision-making.
- Developing energy-efficient, low-latency communication strategies.
- Publishing high-impact research and contributing to outreach and dissemination activities.
- Participating in seminars of the NUEI project funded by NordForsk and co-supervising bachelor’s and master’s thesis projects.
