Eligibility/Qualification
- Essential:
- PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Solid knowledge of molecular microbiology, bacterial stress response, and phage biology.
- Strong wet-lab experience (molecular cloning, microbial culturing).
- Interest in phage biology and antimicrobial resistance.
- Preferred:
- Evidence of scientific writing (thesis/publications).
- Experience with omics data analysis (especially RNA-seq).
- Skills in bioinformatics tools (R/Python).
Job Description
The selected candidate will engage in:
- Independent research projects under supervision.
- Molecular, physiological, and systematic studies of E. coli-phage interaction mechanisms.
- Dissemination of findings through teaching and scientific papers aimed at high-impact journals.
- Participation in academic exchanges, potentially in China, Switzerland, or Germany.
