Eligibility / Qualification

Job Description

The selected postdoctoral researcher will conduct advanced research on multiphase flow and reactive transport in heterogeneous porous media within the Subsurface Biogeochemical Laboratory.

Research Pathways (Candidate-Specific)

1. Computational Pathway

  • Perform high-resolution 3D simulations of multiphase flow using OpenFOAM.
  • Analyze saturation patterns, flow connectivity, and mixing dynamics in porous media.
  • Develop and apply quantitative metrics for pore-scale flow organization and transport.
