Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Background in synthesis or material fabrication, complex molecular systems, and emergent behaviors.
  • Familiarity with photochemistry, polymer science, 3D printing using light, neuromorphic computing, computational modeling, or programming is a plus.
  • Strong track record of excellent publications.

Job Description:

Postdoctoral Position – Photo-Chemical Adaptive 3D Hydrogel Systems for Neuromorphic Computing

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Synthesizing photoswitch molecules and incorporating them into microprinted, micropatterned hydrogels.
  • Studying and tuning the photoresponsive shape change of the gel objects.
  • Collaborating with international laboratories to integrate hydrogel units into optical networks and photonic devices.
  • Engaging in cutting-edge research in a multidisciplinary field.
