Job Description

Two positions are available:

  1. Position 1: Focus on method development in structural biology addressing challenges in specimen preparation and cryogenic electron microscopy.
  • Relevant Experience: Plasma physics, cryogenics, microscopy, microfabrication, image processing, or cryogenic electron tomography.
  1. Position 2: Investigate structural mechanisms underlying immune signaling using cell biology, biochemistry, and structural approaches.
  • Relevant Experience: Genetic engineering, protein purification, advanced microscopy, in vitro reconstitution, membrane proteins, or cryogenic electron tomography.

Compensation

According to German TVöD guidelines with standard public-sector benefits.
