Postdoctoral Research Assistant:The Barts Cancer Institute at Queen Mary University of London is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to lead a project focused on discovering the basic biology behind cancer progression, therapy resistance and metastasis, with a special focus on the tumour microenvironment. The project will be based in the laboratory of Professor Kairbaan Hodivala-Dilke and will involve a stimulating work package of cell biology, immunobiology, molecular and in vivo analysis with a special focus on senescence.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in a relevant biological or related subject
- Undergraduate degree in a biological or related subject
- Significant research laboratory experience in cancer research, cell biology and molecular biology are essential
- Specific experience in endothelial cell biology, senescence scRNA seq bioinformatics analysis would be beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well, work within a team, maintain good laboratory records and publish findings
Job Description: The successful candidate will lead an exciting project that will focus on discovering the basic biology behind cancer progression, therapy resistance and metastasis, with a special focus on the tumour microenvironment. The work will involve a stimulating work package of cell biology, immunobiology, molecular and in vivo analysis with a special focus on senescence. The candidate will work in the laboratory of Professor Kairbaan Hodivala-Dilke in a team of tumour microenvironment experts with cross-institute collaboration at the heart of the study.
