Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD (or equivalent) in Space/Astrophysical/Laboratory Plasma Physics or a related subject.

  • Proven skills in collaboration, initiative, and commitment to research and academic life.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of Dr. Christopher Chen on the project titled “Exploring New Regions of Space: Fundamentals and Impacts of Astrophysical Plasma Turbulence.” This involves:

  • Engaging in observational data analysis, laboratory plasma experiments, theory, numerical simulation, and space weather modeling.
  • Collaborating with team members on flexible interlinking projects aimed at understanding space/astrophysical phenomena and their implications for heliospheric dynamics and space weather.
  • Contributing to the development of innovative approaches to tackling significant challenges in the realm of space physics.
