Eligibility / Qualification
- Minimum Education: Ph.D. in a related field.
- Note for pending conferrals: Candidates who have successfully completed all Ph.D. requirements but have not yet had their degree formally conferred may be eligible to begin employment. You must submit an official letter from the Registrar or Graduate School certifying that all doctoral requirements have been met and specifying the expected conferral date. Continued employment is contingent upon formal conferral.
- Preferred Education & Experience: Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.
- Other Qualifications: Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure (per Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code) if required by the position.
