Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Candidates should hold (or be about to obtain) a PhD in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, or a closely related discipline.
  • A background in synthetic biology, protein purification, or bioelectrochemistry is desirable.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will collaborate within a cross-disciplinary team to support the biological work of the project, focused on the sustainable synthesis of high-value chemicals via bioelectrochemical and biophotocatalytic technologies. Responsibilities include conducting experiments, developing a biotechnological platform, and utilizing efficient light harvesting by semiconductors to facilitate the conversion of carbon dioxide and other feedstocks into complex chemical products.
