Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD degree in biology, cancer biology, immunology, genomics, or related fields.
- Strong background in molecular and/or cellular biology.

Job Description
The dos Santos Laboratory seeks highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to understand how physiological life events impact mammary tissue and influence tumor initiation and therapeutic response. The lab will focus on:
- Defining immune-mediated mechanisms of cancer prevention.
- Investigating stromal–epithelial crosstalk driving tumor initiation and progression.
- Exploring how childhood cancer treatment reshapes mammary tissue, affecting breast cancer susceptibility.
The lab provides a collaborative environment with strong expertise in single-cell transcriptomics, epigenomics, mammary gland biology, and in vivo modeling systems. Commitment to mentoring and fostering creativity and independence is paramount.
