Eligibility/Qualification:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field.
- Practical and technical knowledge of instrumentation and techniques for flow cytometry and other biophysical approaches.
- Familiarity with flow cytometry data processing and instrument maintenance.
- Proven ability to work independently within a research lab.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing quantitative biophysical methods and computational data analysis.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Collaborate with faculty, staff scientists, graduate students, and external partners on multidisciplinary research projects.
- Develop and apply robust methods for flow cytometry and other quantitative approaches.
- Utilize computational tools to analyze data from flow cytometers and cell sorters.
- Assist in the maintenance of cytometers and other biophysical instruments.
- Contribute to grant proposals to procure new instruments and enhance the operational effectiveness of the BIC.
