Job Description
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Kirk (Department of Geology) and Dr. Jesse Nippert (Division of Biology) on the following responsibilities:
- 60%: Conduct collaborative research in grassland ecohydrology; analyze existing and new water and gas compositional data; develop publishable manuscripts.
- 20%: Perform field and laboratory tasks, including sampling from wells and soil monitoring arrays and analyzing chemical samples.
- 10%: Mentor undergraduate researchers on small-scale related projects.
- 10%: Participate in departmental seminars, lab meetings, and outreach activities at Konza Prairie.
