Eligibility/Qualification
- Essential Qualifications:
- PhD degree in fields aligned with Qatar University Research Pillars and Priorities.
- Established international reputation through participation in research-intensive programs.
- Recognized scholarly output in Q1/Q2 reputable journals.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Additional academic or executive qualifications.
- Evidence of writing grant applications.
- International or industrial experience.
- Teaching experience (advantageous but not essential).
Note: All doctoral requirements must be fulfilled, and the degree awarded within five years before the start of the appointment.
Job Description
Selected candidates will:
- Lead research activities under the direction of a QU Referent.
- Collaborate with faculty members at QU.
- Generate high-quality peer-reviewed publications.
- Mentor junior researchers and graduate students.
- Co-supervise graduate students at QU.
- Collaborate on technology transfer and patent filing if applicable.
- Teach selected graduate-level courses as a guest lecturer.
- Present research findings at seminars.
