Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed Ph.D. program in biomedical sciences or life sciences, with a preference for microbiology.
- Experience in working with Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) datasets.
- Demonstrable bioinformatics skills.
- Proficiency in English for WGS data analysis and scientific publications; Dutch language skills are advantageous for team communication.
Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:
- Coordinate the research project on azole resistance in the A. niger complex.
- Analyze genomic data from A. niger isolates, focusing on resistance mechanisms.
- Plan, conduct, and report research findings in a timely manner.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders within the research.
- Contribute to scientific publications and present results at symposia.
