Eligibility / Qualification

Candidates should have:

  • A PhD in biomaterials, bioengineering, cell biology, plant biology, biochemistry, biophysics, materials science, tissue engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience in interdisciplinary research.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and creatively.
  • Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary scientific research.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be advantageous:

  • Hydrogels and bioinks
  • Mammalian cell culture
  • Hypoxia models
  • Fluorescence or confocal microscopy
  • Metabolic or mitochondrial assays
  • Photosynthesis-related biology
  • Plant-derived biological systems
  • Biomaterial characterization

Job Description

The selected researcher will contribute to an interdisciplinary project aimed at developing biohybrid material systems that provide cellular support under hypoxic biomedical conditions.

Potential research activities include:

  • Development and characterization of advanced biohybrid materials.
  • Investigation of material–cell interactions.
  • Development of materials suitable for biomedical and tissue-engineering applications.
  • Work with hydrogels, bioinks, cells, and biological systems.
  • Characterization of biological and material properties.
  • Application of microscopy and biochemical/biophysical analysis techniques.
  • Contribution to research related to 3D bioprinting and regenerative medicine.
  • Collaboration with national and international research partners.
  • Preparation of scientific publications, presentations, and research outputs.
  • Participation in conferences, workshops, specialized training, and grant-related activities.
