Eligibility & Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Education: A Ph.D. or doctoral degree in Biology/Geroscience, Molecular Biology, Nutrition, Lipid Metabolism, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Physiology, or a related discipline.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Solid foundation in microscopy or quantitative data analysis with multi-omics datasets.
- Strong proficiency in either C. elegans or tissue-culture-based work (training in C. elegans will be provided for candidates with strong cell culture expertise).
- Skills & Attributes:
- High-level scientific writing and verbal communication skills (demonstrated potential to produce first-author publications).
- Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research while collaborating across interdisciplinary teams.
- High standard of thoroughness in experimental record-keeping.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities
- Conduct C. elegans lifespan assays, multi-omics data analysis, pharmacological/dietary interventions, and microscopy.
- Lead research projects resulting in first-author peer-reviewed publications.
- Formulate and execute independent fellowship submissions and assist with grant writing/progress reporting.
- Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary teams spanning bioinformatics, nutrition, and aging biology.
- Participate in laboratory meetings, institutional seminars, and larger multidisciplinary research initiatives.
