Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related subjects.
  • Experience in quantum chemistry calculations, QM/MM simulations, and/or MD simulations.
  • Strong background in statistical mechanics.
  • Proficiency in coding and scripting (e.g., Python, Tcl, etc.).

Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Researcher will:

  • Conduct electronic structure calculations and multiscale quantum/molecular mechanics studies.
  • Prepare biochemical systems in their native environments for equilibrium and non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations.
  • Provide technical assistance to other researchers and contribute to team-oriented projects.
  • Write and publish peer-reviewed research papers.
  • Present results at scientific conferences and assist Dr. Acharya with various research tasks.
