About- The Smart Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory (Smart CPS Lab) at Korea University of Technology and Education (Koreatech) is seeking an exceptional and innovative individual with a doctoral degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields to work with the ongoing projects.

Eligibility/Qualification–
- Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields
- Those who have research experiences in
- Task scheduling and resource allocation in multi-agent systems
- Deep Reinforcement Learning for task scheduling with multiple objectives
- Ontology-based semantic search for federation of heterogeneous sources
- Concurrency control methods on shared object manipulation are preferred
- Those who can work full-time for Smart CPS Lab at Koreatech (www.koreatech.ac.kr) Those who have research accomplishments as same as below
- Three or more papers as a first or a corresponding author published in SCI(E) related to the aforementioned research experiences within 5 years
- An ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
- Those who have working experiences with Korean are preferred
- Strong coding skills in Python
- Good communication and writing skills in English
Job/Position Description-
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Publish at least 2 academic papers per year as a first author in SCI(E)-indexed journals with Professor WonTae Kim of Smart CPS Lab as a corresponding author
- Develop new system architectures and algorithms to support research projects
- Contribute or lead to the analysis of data generated by experiments
- Contribute or lead to the writing of scientific articles
- Assist with the development of research proposals
FINANCIAL SUPPORT: ₩36,000,000 (about $27,900) per year including tax, four major public insurance, and severance pay except for personal travel expenses
FELLOWSHIP DURATION: The initial appointment is for periods over 1 year, with the possibility of an extension based upon performance and availability of funding.
