Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computational Biology, Protein Design, or a related field; OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in bioinformatics for protein structure data analysis, molecular dynamics, and algorithm design.
  • Strong background in statistics and experience with machine learning frameworks is preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming (preferably Python3) and familiarity with Unix-based systems.

Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Researcher will engage in an interdisciplinary research program that includes:

  • Execution of innovative research projects in the fields of chemical biology and biocatalysis.
  • Application and development of methods leveraging protein structure data for enzyme engineering.
  • Implement state-of-the-art machine learning methods for analyzing enzyme sequence/structure-activity relationships.
  • Statistical analysis for validating experimental quality.
  • Support in supervising internships and theses.
