Eligibility/Qualification
- Recent Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Background in senescence, cell cycle, DNA damage signaling, or neurodegeneration is a merit.
- Strong motivation and the ability to independently drive scientific research projects.
- Experience in cell-based phenotypic screens and training junior members is preferred.
- Excellent scientific merit as demonstrated by publications, experience, and other relevant research merits.
- Eligibility for postdoctoral scholarships, established for foreign researchers in Sweden.
- Doctorate degree obtained within four years prior to the application or completed before the start date.
Job Description
The selected postdoctoral scientist will:
- Conduct high-content imaging and genetic and chemical screens to discover new therapeutic strategies.
- Independently drive research projects using cell and molecular biology techniques.
- Train and support junior group members.
- Contribute to the group’s scientific output through writing and presenting research findings.
