Eligibility/Qualification

  • Recent Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Background in senescence, cell cycle, DNA damage signaling, or neurodegeneration is a merit.
  • Strong motivation and the ability to independently drive scientific research projects.
  • Experience in cell-based phenotypic screens and training junior members is preferred.
  • Excellent scientific merit as demonstrated by publications, experience, and other relevant research merits.
  • Eligibility for postdoctoral scholarships, established for foreign researchers in Sweden.
  • Doctorate degree obtained within four years prior to the application or completed before the start date.

Job Description

The selected postdoctoral scientist will:

  • Conduct high-content imaging and genetic and chemical screens to discover new therapeutic strategies.
  • Independently drive research projects using cell and molecular biology techniques.
  • Train and support junior group members.
  • Contribute to the group’s scientific output through writing and presenting research findings.
