- PhD degree with knowledge in Materials Science and electroactive ceramics or polymers.
Job Description
The successful candidate will focus on the fabrication and optimization of piezoelectric energy harvesters for tire applications, as part of the “Tire as a Sensor” program. Key responsibilities include:
- Investigating geometries for efficient strain transfer from tires to ceramics.
- Developing signal conditioning electronics.
- Integrating the harvester into real tires and conducting operational tests.
- Conducting literature analysis and publishing results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participating in scientific conferences.
Additional Tasks:
- Utilize finite element modeling software (Comsol) for design optimization.
- Conduct electronic circuit simulations using LTSpice.
