Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field by the commencement of employment.
- Deep knowledge of solid-state chemistry and rechargeable lithium battery chemistry.
- Strong experience in inorganic synthesis, battery electrode fabrication, cell assembly, and testing.
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Design and synthesize oxide and oxyfluoride cathode materials for rechargeable lithium batteries.
- Apply coating and/or substitution to cathodes and anodes for performance optimization.
- Prepare and test lithium battery cells (both half and full cells).
- Conduct advanced diagnostic studies to understand electrochemical reaction mechanisms.
- Analyze complex data and interpret experimental results.
- Collaborate in team discussions and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Assist in writing reports, preparing presentations, and manuscript submission.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
