Eligibility/Qualification:
- A completed scientific university degree (Diploma or Master’s) in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, or a related field.
- A Doctorate in one of the above disciplines.
- Experience in writing and publishing in prestigious scientific journals.
- Desirable: Experience in yeast expression systems and supervision of students.
- Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
- Strong communication skills, high motivation, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Job Description:
- Engineering enzymes through directed evolution techniques.
- Optimization of endo-levanase expression.
- Management of project deliverables, including the preparation of project reports.
- Supervision and mentorship of PhD students and undergraduates.
- Writing scientific publications and contributing to the dissemination of research findings.
