Eligibility/Qualification
- A doctoral degree in Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Technology, Soft Materials Science, or a related field.
- A good publication record demonstrating research expertise.
- Strong understanding of soft matter and macromolecular design.
- Experience in interdisciplinary research projects is highly valued.
- Prior experience in teaching and supervision of MSc and PhD level researchers is an advantage.
- Proficient in English (oral and written).
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Engage in high-profile, interdisciplinary research projects, contributing to the development of active electrode materials for organic radical ion batteries.
- Participate in the tuning of phase-transition temperatures of liquid-crystalline elastomers for energy-saving buildings.
- Collaborate effectively between the Multifunctional Materials Design and Polymer Synthesis Technology groups.
- Contribute to teaching and supervision of graduate students.
- Disseminate scientific results through publications and presentations.
