NMICPS Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation Foundation (TiHAN-IITH) at IIT Hyderabad is sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), Govt. of India, and sanctioned the prestigious Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) in the Technological Vertical of Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems (UAVs, ROVs, etc.) of will focus on cutting-edge technology development, promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship activities, and manpower training in the broad areas of Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Life Sciences Minimum 2 years of experience with fluorescence microscopy/confocal microscopy for imaging biological samples. Published evidence of microscopy data is essential.

Job/Position Description- 

Research Associate II (Fluorescence Microscopy) 

IIT Hyderabad is establishing a national facility for the Single-Molecule and Super-Resolution Imaging, funded by DBT-SAHAJ. Applications are invited from candidates (Ph.D. holders) with excellent academic records and thorough experience in fluorescence/confocal microscopy.

Description of the jobCell culture for imaging, sample preparation and imaging samples from the users, training users for their imaging applications, supporting users with image analysis and data visualization, manuscript preparation, overall operations of the facility, and conducting workshops and training programs
Duration of the position5 years (initial appointment is for 1 year only, but it can be extended for the next 4 years depending on performance)
RemunerationRs. 61,000 + 24% HRA per month
