Eligibility/Qualification:
Essential Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence / Generative AI with BE/BTech/Equivalent in Chemical Engg/Metallurgical Engg/Mining Engg/Mechanical Engg
- At least 3 publications in Scopus indexed journals will be required.
- Candidates should not have published in Predatory Journals.
Desirable Qualifications
- Relevant research/industrial experience related to Advanced AI/Generative Modelling and clean coal technology preferred.
- The candidate should have good academic records throughout and good writing/communication skills.
Experience – Fresh Ph.D. (at least provisional degree certificate awarded) / preferably with some post-doc Experience

- Forecasting with AI
- Generative Modelling with AI
- AI / ML to handle Coal supply chain optimization
- Modeling Uncertainty in coal supply chain using Generative AI

Position – Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (Coal Supply Chain Optimization using AI) under CLEANZ CoE
Type of Position – The position is for one year, with an extension subject to performance through a review process.
Fellowship – Consolidated pay Rs. 75,400 to Rs 79,300 per month (including HRA) based on post-doc experience
Job Description –
- To develop a definite research product/outcome with TRL 5/6 Level.
- Review of relevant literature and coordinate the work with the team.
- Report preparation, article writing and lab management.
- Interaction with sponsored agencies, traveling for project execution (if needed) etc.
- Formulation and solution of Coal Supply Chain optimization using AI / Generative Modelling of coal data problems.
Performance Matrices –
- IP generated
- Different approaches to solve real problems of Coal or other Supply Chains.
- New knowledge/ technology solutions in Clean coal technologies
Expected Outcomes – IP, Scalable Technology, Research oriented technical minds, New application areas of Coal using AI and start-ups.
