Research Area

The research will focus on the structure and function of RNA-protein complexes, examining how proteins recognize RNA sequences and their three-dimensional structures, complemented by computational design efforts.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Ph.D. in relevant areas (Biology, Chemistry, etc.), defended no more than 12 years before the start of the contract.
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
  • Experimental structure determination of biological macromolecules (cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography).
  • Biophysical analyses of macromolecular structure and dynamics.
  • RNA structural analysis and RNA–protein interaction studies.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Researcher will:

  • Conduct interdisciplinary studies on RNA-protein complex structures.
  • Validate designs through experimental approaches and structural biology techniques.
  • Utilize methods such as chemical probing, crystallography, cryo-EM, and SAXS.
  • Foster collaboration within a multidisciplinary, international team.
  • Be encouraged to apply for external funding, including fellowships or research grants.
