Postdoctoral Researcher in Supramolecular Chemistry: The Department of Chemistry at the University of Jyväskylä is inviting applications for two Postdoctoral Researcher positions in Organic and Supramolecular Chemistry. These roles are funded by the European Research Council (ERC Consolidator Grant ProteoKnot) and are set to commence as soon as possible, but no later than June 1, 2026.

Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD degree completed before the starting date.
- Previous experience in supramolecular chemistry and/or multi-step organic synthesis is recommended.
- Expertise in molecular nanotopology, foldamer chemistry, or oligophenylene synthesis is particularly relevant.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will work under the supervision of Associate Professor Fabien Cougnon. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in research focused on the construction of complex knotted macromolecules or polymers from oligophenylene strands.
- Actively participating in group meetings and contributing to the supervision of undergraduate and graduate students.
