The Systems Medicine research area at DZNE’s Bonn site is recruiting for a full-time postdoctoral position (39 hours per week) for an initial period of two years with the possibility of extension. Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in biology, life sciences, molecular biomedicine, biotechnology, computational biology, or a related field
- Expertise in handling human biopsy material
- Knowledge in genomics, biology and/or immunology is an advantage
- Very good English and German proficiency
- Enthusiastic and collaborative work attitude
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Job Description:
The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of the PRECISE platform for Single Cell Genomics in Systems Medicine and be responsible for further development and establishment of sequencing technologies for clinical use.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and establishing sequencing technologies for clinical use
- Working closely with the Director of the PRECISE platform for Single Cell Genomics in Systems Medicine
- Ensuring that all work is conducted according to established protocols and standards
