Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in bioanalytical chemistry or related field
- Experience with or keen interest in learning untargeted metabolomics
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary team
Job Description:
- Develop and validate quantitative LC-MS methods for microbial metabolites, particularly SCFAs
- Analyze plasma samples from non-small cell lung cancer patients to validate predictive value of SCFAs
- Utilize untargeted metabolomics to discover new predictive microbial metabolites
- Communicate findings at interdisciplinary meetings and in scientific journals
