Postdoctoral Researcher -PHY on FPGA Boards: We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our dynamic team to contribute to developing a flexible wireless physical layer (PHY) on FPGA boards, under the direction of Prof. Haris Gačanin. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A doctoral degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering.
  • Strong background in Electronics, Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, and Hardware Design.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Matlab, and Hardware Description Languages (Verilog or VHDL).
  • Familiarity with low-frequency circuit design, PCB design, and FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado).
  • Knowledge of wireless communication standards (e.g., Wi-Fi, 5G/6G) is essential.

Job Description:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research on developing flexible wireless PHY on FPGA boards.
  • Design and implement flexible wireless PHY algorithms and protocols on FPGA boards.
  • Conduct experiments and performance analysis to evaluate developed solutions.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of researchers to integrate research findings into practical applications.
  • Publish research findings in prestigious conferences and peer-reviewed journals.
