Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Zeolite: Join us as a postdoctoral researcher in a zeolite synthesis project at the Center for Sustainable Catalysis and Engineering, KU Leuven, Belgium, in collaboration with an industrial partner specializing in microporous material applications in catalysis.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Hold a PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Expertise in microporous material synthesis, preferably zeolites, and/or their detailed characterization.
- Practical experience with standard characterization tools (e.g., physisorption, XRD, TGA, TPD, FTIR, etc.).
- Strong interest in mechanistic studies and fundamental research, with openness to applicative research.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic research team.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential. B2-level proficiency in English or Dutch is required if the Master’s degree was not obtained from an English or Dutch-taught program in a relevant country.
Job Description:
- Conduct zeolite synthesis and comprehensive characterization using innovative approaches.
- Investigate the influence of different synthesis approaches on critical performance metrics such as Si/Al ratios, acidity, Divalent Cation Capacity, and topology.
- Collaborate with an external industrial partner for catalytic testing of promising samples.
- Effective communication of research findings through papers and presentations.
- Training provided to enhance communication skills.
