Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed academic degree with a PhD in physics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field
- Proven research experience in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in interdisciplinary teams
- Very good command of English (minimum B2 level); ideally good German language skills
- Experience in software development is a plus
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:
- Extend, develop, and analyze new quantum algorithms for drug discovery
- Investigate the potential quantum advantages of these algorithms in real-world scenarios, collaborating closely with bioinformatics partners
- Estimate quantum computing resources necessary for proposed solutions
- Develop algorithms for efficient data input and output relevant to drug discovery
- Contribute to technical reports and scientific publications
- Supervise PhD and master’s students in related projects
