Eligibility/Qualification:
- Required:
- Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of a doctoral degree within the five years preceding the appointment.
- No prior positions in the professional ranks.
- Preferred:
- Strong background in interfacial science, thin film engineering, and characterization techniques.
- Experience with SEM, FIB, EDS, RAMAN, LC-MS/MS, and FTIR.
- Proficiency in data analysis and modeling.
- Excellent written and communication skills with a track record of publications.
- Strong motivation for discovery-based scientific research.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will combine interfacial science with microdevice manufacturing research to find solutions for water contamination and real-time detection challenges. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative research, potentially leading to valuable technology and industry collaborations. The initial part-time position could convert to full-time based on experience and funding.
